LOCATION Books:
An experiment in publishing, LOCATION combined a gallery exhibition paradigm with an unmediated, compact experience of artists' projects free from editorialization. By showcasing the work unaccompanied by didactics and commercial content, LOCATION emphasized a direct line of conversation between the visual artist and the viewer. Its second iteration focuses on text-based, mass-market paperbacks, allowing artists to reach a broader audience.

*LOCATION BOOKS is an artist book publishing venture started with Scott Nedrelow that provides contemporary artists the opportunity to produce new work in small editions. Unfortunately Location Books are no longer available. They’ve all been placed into private and museum collections, including the libraries at SFMOMA, MOMA, and The Whitney.
